Thoughts on 2025 Kitchen & Bath Trends
Personalize Your Space

Based on AI's predicted 2025 trends, kitchen and bath designs are moving towards warmer, more personalized spaces that focus on functionality and natural materials. The prediction is to expect a shift away from all-white kitchens, with bold colors and mixed metals trending again. Also expected to be popular are open shelving, smart storage, and custom design elements, alongside sustainable and eco-friendly choices.
I personally find trend predictions a bit pointless. Recycling popular styles and presenting them as new design guidelines feels insincere. While "personalized spaces" and a focus on "functionality and smart storage" are always relevant, the prediction of "bold colors" does ring true, especially with the rise in greens (from pistachio to dark hunter) and blues (from grey-blue to navy), combined with creative uses of lighting, hardware, and metal fixtures.
However, the move away from "all-white kitchens" isn't something I'm seeing. At AKandB, effortlessly stylish kitchens in whites, off-whites, and other neutral schemes that evoke a calm sophistication are still very much in demand. Think Scandinavian elegance, monochrome designs, handle-less cabinetry for a minimalist look, and hidden storage to promote a clutter-free environment.
Trends aside, when you're ready to explore the possibilities of a "personalized space", you can find us at the corner of Lafayette and Euclid Avenues. Our showroom just might give you the inspiration to take the next step.
